The key to translating thingese speech is to pretend that you are talking to a drunken sailor because all the slurs and mispronounciations are basically the same speech impediments that Things 1 & 2 demonstrate. Fortunately, Thing 1 had a year and a helf of speech therapy, so he's easier to understand... most of the time.
