Chili Cheese Fries Burrito - The Horrors of Wienerschnitzel

It's better you don't directly SEE the 'burrito'. Let Depth of Field be our friend today.

First off I want to apologize to Dr. Wallach, he stressed a low sodium diet and this ain't within those boundries. Then, I would like to apologize to all of you, sort of, but not really. You see, when Emil handed me this ad for a Chili Cheese Fries Burrito from Wienerschnitzel I just couldn't resist. I wouldn't have gone for a corn dog, I wouldn't have gone for the Chili Cheese Meal Deal that includes a chili cheese dog, a chili cheese burger and chili cheese fries. Nope, I steer clear. But a chili cheese fries burrito? For 99 cent? I was so there.

BOO !!!

While I stated that I wouldn't go for the Chili Cheese Meal Deal, that isn't to say that I haven't had those items in the past. It's just that it doesn't stir my inner soul like it used to. So, I know the odd alkaline smell of the chili, the creamy nothingness of the cheese and the quite good thin, yet crispy and salty fries that the chili cheese fries can deliver. But to roll that up in a flour tortilla? What's that all about? It's about 99 cents and I got myself one and just now? Ate it. And brother, or sister, I don't feel well.
I suppose it's why I haven't been there in quite some time, blech. I have to say though, it is the chili cheese fries that I remember and it's a far cleaner way to eat them, trust me. All in all, steer clear if you can. But if you're a fan, then most certainly stop by and try it.
See, Meathenge Labs tests these items in fast foodery so you don't have to. We're professionals, we know what we're doing. Meathenge cares!

Exit Biggles as he holds his gut, mumbling and weaving down the dark & cluttered hallway that is his destiny.

That's just sick.
I want one.

Heh, good thing I didn't mention the chili cheese dog I had in the truck on my way back to photograph the burrito. What a way to ruin a beautiful Pho Ga lunch. Oh well.

Biggles

Ooo.. That's total depression food, you know, the kind of stuff you eat while crying and sitting in the dark wondering why the world is so evil and your life is such a mess. Uhm... not that I've ever done that mind you. It's just that I know that's what I *would do* if I ever had to eat that thing.

Biggles - I think you may have found the ultimate gut bomb. I salute you.

But did the real question is: beans, or no beans in the chili?

Adrienne

Hey Adrienne,

No beans! Spose it's T E X A S Style then?

Way to take one for the team, Dr. B.

Stomach linings across the internet have paused, with their hands over their still-beating hearts, in appreciation of your noble sacrifice.

Anyone who does not love this amazing creation does not love food. I'm sorry, you just suck if you think its gross or weird. I'm surprised no one had done this in fast food. Big ups to the schnitzel for making this piece of heaven.
